The South Carolina Port Authority (SCPA) has updated their Export Receiving Policy from 26 July.There will be NO REEFER gates available on these days. Sunday gates have been extended through Octo(0800-1700). Long dwelling imports (30 days or more) at the WWT are subject to being barged to the HLT and assessed $500. Average truck turn times at the WWT are 21.7 minutes and 29.0 at the NCT. At HLT there have been no berthing conflicts with the one berth.

At NCT berth windows are being accommodated. Berth 3 is reserved for vessels with a move count of 2,000 moves or less. At the WWT: berth windows are being accommodated when feasible. Terminal utilization at WWT is at 55%, at NCT is at 52%, and HLT it at 38%.

VIT has opened NIT and VIG to full day gates on Saturdays for both import delivery and export receiving VIG gates opening at 0300 M-F for additional hours. Terminal has shortened their ERD window from 7 to 5 days and has increased storage cost to decrease dwell times. Yard utilization at Maher is at 83%, GCT Bayonne 51% and 70% at APMT. Berth waiting times are running upwards of 30 days for GCT Bayonne, 10 days for Maher and 4 for APMT. From October 21, there were 9 vessels waiting. At the start of week 42 there were 13 container vessels reported at anchorage awaiting a berth.
